Purpose in Life

Another year has swiftly flown by giving us time to reflect on as we enter 2013, with joy and anticipation. In looking back at the last year, many of us have been wondering what our world is going to look like in the New Year – what is our purpose in life. While most of us did not expect the world to end, we may have felt a sense of unease and uncertainty, as to what the future has to offer. Many of us have experienced health issues, financial issues and witnessed the breakdown of social structures. Also, there seems to be a crisis on every corner of the globe and it can be simply overwhelming! However, we all do have a voice and we can speak out about issues in the world. As we become aware and sensitive to the larger world, it is vital during this time to be extremely fully aware of our inner world. As to our thoughts, choices on a daily basis. When we move beyond our fears, we find there are sources of courage and strength that were unknown to us previously. We have the potential to embrace a future filled with light, love, inspiration – to quiet our mind and send thoughts of love to the entire world.
